Tony Richard Crawley, 59, Dies

Tony Richard Crawley, 59 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1. He was born Oct. 30, 1953 in Atlanta.  ony was a ‘people person’ – he loved his family, music and sports. He was an avid Braves and Falcons fan.

Mr. Crawley was preceded in death by his wife, Phoebe Crawley; his father, George Richard Crawley; and a sister, Cheryl Wade.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Walker of Douglasville, GA; sister, Angie Yard and her husband, Bob of Kennesaw, GA; sister, Delania O’Shea and her husband, Bill of New Market, MD; niece, Liza Goodwin of Woodstock, GA; and a nephew, Skylar Yard of Kennesaw, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 5 until 7 pm. The funeral service will be Thursday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend R. C. Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Road, SW, Atlanta, GA 30311.
