Traffic Alert: Delays Wednesday on I-20

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Drivers should expect traffic delays on Interstate 20 Wednesday morning because of work being done on the interstate, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office announced.

Traffic will be paced down until about 11 a.m. in both eastbound and westbound lanes as workers move power lines across the highway, the office said.

The work is being done between Chapel Hill Road and Thornton Road.

The job was scheduled to begin shortly after 10 a.m.
