Two Arrested With Stolen Paulding Gun: Police
A Douglasville and Carrollton resident were arrested Wednesday after a gun reported stolen in Paulding was discovered by Villa Rica Police.

VILLA RICA, GA – A Douglasville resident and a Carrollton resident were both arrested Wednesday after a firearm reported stolen from Paulding was discovered, according to the Villa Rica Police.
Hollie Anne Smith, 25, from Douglasville, and Chad Michael Easterwood, 30, from Carrollton, were pulled over on Industrial Blvd. for an equipment violation. The officer found that the vehicle, driven by Smith, had two handguns under the passenger seat. Smith and Easterwood both accused each other of possessing the weapons, according to police.
During the investigation it was discovered that one of the firearms had been reported stolen in Paulding County. It was also determined that Easterwood was a convicted felon.

Easterwood was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of firearm by a convicted felon. Smith was also arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
