Victims Identified in Deadly Douglasville Crash

Two people were killed in a five-car collision Wednesday night on Ga. 92.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Authorities on Friday identified the victims in a deadly, five-car collision Wednesday night on Ga. 92 in Douglasville.

Charles Paine, 30, of Douglasville, and Daryl Head, 42, of Warner Robins, were killed and four others were injured in the wreck, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

According to the state patrol, Paine was driving a 2011 Kia Soul north on Ga. 92 when it rear-ended a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

The Tacoma was forced into oncoming traffic, where it hit Head's 2001 Toyota Camry head-on. The Camry stopped near where it was hit, but the Tacoma flipped over and struck head-on a dark blue Ford F-150, which was also traveling south.

Meanwhile, Paine's Kia continued north, where it hit a gray Toyota Camry head-on.

Aaron White, 33, of Hiram, was the driver of the Tacoma. He was injured and transported to Atlanta Medical Center.

Two passengers in Head's Camry — Shintell Browder, 42, of Kennesaw, and Trinity Chism, 13, of Kennesaw — were injured and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.

The Camry's driver, Alqueta Thurman, 37, of Douglasville, was injured and transported to Wellstar Paulding Hospital. The Ford F-150's driver was not injured.
