Visit The Douglas County Film Trail For Tourism Week: WATCH

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — National Travel & Tourism Week is almost over. As part of tourism week, Patch asked Douglas County Tourism & Film director Collin Cash to tell us about the Douglas County Film Trail.

Did you know that more than 700 movie and television productions have been filmed in Douglasville and Douglas County?

Visit filming sites used in some of your favorite television and more productions, like "Logan Lucky," "The Haves and Have Nots," "Diary of a Whimpy Kid," "MacGyver," and many more.

From downtown Douglasville to Sweetwater Creek and all throughout Douglas County, you'll find several officially designated filming locations that are physically marked with a "DC Film Trail" sign. Included in the self-guided walking tour are:

Old jail
Old courthouse
Downtown Douglasville
Arbor Place Mall
Tiffany's Kitchen
Sweetwater Creek State Park
Riverside Parkwak
Tributary Neighborhood
Foxhall Resort
