A Walmart worker in Lithia Springs gave his own shoes away to a homeless man last week, drawing compliments and attention for the employee's generosity. Phil Bravin Powell made the selfless gesture Friday afternoon while he was working.

A two-year-old girl was missing for a short time Monday morning after a car was stolen with the child inside.
Police said the car, a white Nissan Altima, was stolen from a Shell gas station on Flat Shoals Road.
