• Atlanta Korean Festival — 100K Fans Celebrate Hallyu Wave in 2026 (koreadaily.com) — Duluth residents may be proud to know Mayor Greg Whitlock helped open this year's Atlanta Korean Festival, which drew about 100,000 people to Gwinnett Place Mall. The event highlighted Korean culture with hanbok fashion shows, traditional weddings, taekwondo, and K-pop performances, while local leaders celebrated Gwinnett's large Korean-American community and thriving Korean-owned businesses.
