Neighbors say Frozen Paradise violence is a weekend problem after Fort Stewart soldier is shot in Hinesville (wjcl.com) — Residents near Frozen Paradise in Hinesville are voicing safety concerns after an off-duty Hinesville police officer shot a Fort Stewart soldier who allegedly opened fire on a crowd outside the bar. Neighbors describe recurring weekend disturbances, while the GBI continues investigating and police and the business have not yet publicly responded. 
2. New Liberty County EMS headquarters opens in Hinesville (wtoc.com) — Liberty County's new EMS administration headquarters on South Main Street in Hinesville is opening with a public ribbon-cutting Thursday at 9 a.m. The 5,500-square-foot facility will house EMS offices, training space, and support areas, aiming to improve emergency response for residents and visitors across the county.

Cop resigns; Atlanta airport bracing for holiday rush; APD loses one of its own (wgtjradio.com) — A Hinesville police officer resigned following an internal investigation into a controversial traffic stop where a disabled veteran and amputee was left on the roadside, with a similar earlier incident also cited by the chief.
