• Fake Feds Bleed Hogansville Victim For $300K In Brazen Cash Scam (hoodline.com) — Hogansville police are investigating a sophisticated scam in which fraudsters posing as federal agents allegedly convinced a local resident to hand over more than $300,000 in cash, including $60,000 in one February meetup inside city limits. Investigators released a suspect sketch and vehicle photos and are urging anyone with information, or anyone targeted by similar schemes, to contact Sgt. Detective Williams and report it immediately.
