• Jesup considers data center zoning rules (wjcl.com) — Jesup city leaders are weighing new zoning rules that could allow data centers and cryptocurrency mining operations in the light industrial district, including a possible project at Wayne Commerce Center. After residents packed a recent meeting to raise concerns about noise, water use, and neighborhood impacts, commissioners may consider a 12‑month moratorium when the council meets again next Tuesday.
   

• Local vape store busted for alleged 'illegal sales' in threecounty raid (theblacksheartimes.com) — Law enforcement recently raided and closed vape shops in Jesup, Blackshear, and Ludowici after an eight‑month investigation into alleged illegal sales. Working with the Georgia Department of Agriculture, sheriffs from Pierce, Wayne, and Long counties executed eight search warrants, shut four stores, and say the case remains under active investigation with few details yet released.
