100 Best Public Elementary Schools In Georgia 2019 List
A website compiled a list of the best public elementary schools in Georgia. See where your local school is ranked.
OCONEE, GA — While Georgia as a whole regularly ranks in the bottom half of states for school quality, the communities in the Atlanta region have a reputation of supporting their public school systems. The state has some great schools, from the elementary level up to high school and college years. Niche.com recently released its ranking of the top elementary schools in Georgia.
Similar to the ranking of the state's best high schools, Oconee County, Roswell and Forsyth County schools ruled the top of the list. Oconee has the top elementary school in the state, Roswell has one slot in the top 10 and the other eight top slots all belong to Forsyth County public elementary schools.
Niche, a website for researching schools, said, "The 2019 Best Public Elementary Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.
