Moldy beer taps, dirty utensils and warm sour cream were just some of the problems inspectors found during inspection on April 17. The restaurant scored a 57/U on that inspection.

The score of 57 had been a sharp drop from La Cazuela's previous inspections. The restaurant received a 94-A on its most recent inspection in February and a 91-A on an inspection in September.

Sunday's report noted that hot and cold storage problems that had caused penalties on the previous report had been fixed.

Prior to Sunday's inspection, La Cazuela had already cleared up one of the problems for which it was penalized. On April 20,inspectors confirmed that the restaurant has proper documentation that some of the fish it serves is safe.

To be specific, inspectors were looking for a form showing that tilapia the restaurant uses to make ceviche was confirmed to be parasite-free.
