Boswell Edward Academy's GA Lottery Funded Pre-K Still Has Openings for 2015-16 School Year

Norcross Childcare Facility Is "Where Success Begins Early…"

It’s no secret that Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a lottery funded educational program for Georgia’s four year olds designed to prepare them for kindergarten. It’s also no secret that Boswell Edward Academy, one of Georgia’s eligible private childcare centers, takes great pride in educating next generation leaders by helping to prepare four year old boys and girls for the beginning of their educational journey. Speaking of the Pre-K journey, Boswell Edward Academy is proud to announce available slots in their 2015-16 Pre-K program.

According to the Center for Public Education, in Georgia, children who attended the state’s universal program overcame the achievement gap they faced prior to enrolling in Pre-k by the time they finished kindergarten. Children who received pre-k equaled or exceeded national norms in eight of nine standardized assessments by the end of their kindergarten year. Further, a large and growing body of research shows that investing in high-quality pre-kindergarten education yields benefits for children, schools, and communities. There is strong evidence showing that young children who participate in high-quality Pre-k programs enter school more ready to learn than their peers.

Boswell Edward Academy is one of those high-quality Pre-K programs. Nestled in the heart of Technology Park at 3119 Campus Boulevard near Historic Downtown Norcross, the facility has provided quality childcare for children ages 6 weeks and up for over 15 years. Directors Reverend Dr. Charles Odom and Connie Odom, certified faculty, and certified staff have watched their facility, educational offerings, and their love of children grow each and every year.
