Humanity First Awareness Day was celebrated by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Georgia on June 13th in Bait ul Ata mosque. An informative presentation was made about the work and projects carried out by the relief organization. Humanity First merchandise was sold and donations were collected for the Nepal Earth Quake Relief Fund.
Humanity First serves communities worldwide and aims to relieve suffering caused by natural disasters and human conflicts. It has set up several projects in places around the globe. While it relies heavily on volunteer participation it sustains itself on donations from individuals and corporations. It also partners with other organizations with similar humanitarian service goals. The organization operates in 41 countries across 6 continents. In United States, Humanity First has three programs; “Feed the Hungry”, “Our Kids Our Future” and Sadiq Organic Farm & Garden.
Humanity First, like any other nonprofit, depends on financial donations from its supporters. Members of the community donated generously and we collected $800 for the Nepal Earth Quake Relief Fund. Ahmadi Muslims donated for a cause and as volunteers for Humanity First USA we appreciate their generosity, support and compassion.
