Loganville Crime Watch: Speeding Dump Trucks, Assault Arrest, Missing Person

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: October 21, 2014

Zone 1
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in the area of Lower Jersey Rd. in reference to recent thefts. Residents have observed a suspicious dark pickup truck in the area.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Habersham Circle. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Zone 2
Extra Patrol – Dump trucks were observed speeding in the area of Mount Paron Church Rd.

Zone 3
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Jim Daws Rd. at Harry Arnold Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Zone 5
Burglary – A chainsaw and small hand tools were taken from the garage of a vacant residence on Bold Springs Rd.

Zone 6
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Rd. at Round Rock Court. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Assault – Gabriel Clement was arrested on Bypass Rd. in reference to an assault.

Missing Person
Susan Hankins was reported missing from her residence on Centerhill Church Rd. She was last seen on October 19, 2014 by a friend. Susan is described as a white, 62 year old female with blonde hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’3 and 125lbs. Susan drives a white 1998 Toyota Corolla with a gold two-tone bumper.
