Edward Thomas, Jr age 70, of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Hughes will officiate.

Our beloved Edward Thomas Jr. born July 6, 1944 Elkton, Md, recently passed away May 21, 2015. He lived a courageous life and served for our country. Giving us freedom for all that he had went through were indeed painful, but stayed strong and still survived everyday he always put family first and taught us many things in life, that will follow us in life and we’ll look back on.

Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Edith Vandergift. He had a loving wife of 32 years, Deborah Thomas were married in Vinton VA at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church on July 10, 1982. His loving daughters Kathleen Davis Bradenton, Fl, Pauline ( Angie) Evans Marion, Va, LaDonna Bramlett Loganville, Ga. Son Derrick Cain Lawrenceville, Ga. His grandsons Tony Thomas, Christopher Bramlett, Dean Cain. Granddaughters Haley Cain Rikeasa Huff and sister in laws Renee Kallen and Cheryl Gardipee.

We all loved him very much with all our hearts and know that he didn’t fade away and will walk by us every day unseen, unheard when he is not here with us he will be in our hearts and always thought of everyday. Always know he is loved and missed very dearly.
