Macon's Economic Opportunity Council enrolling children in Head Start Program

The Macon-Bibb Economic Opportunity Council has begun enrolling children for the Head Start Program for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Head Start program is a free program that offers comprehensive instruction to prepare children from birth to 5 years old for life long learning.

Families receive support through various services such as health screenings, developmental resources, nutrition services, and ongoing family engagement.

You must live in Bibb or Monroe county to be eligible and meet other eligibility requirements with limited space.
