• GBI: Nine-month Macon drug investigation leads to 7 arrests (41nbc.com) — A nine‑month investigation by the GBI's Middle Georgia Gang Task Force led to seven arrests, major drug seizures, and 11 firearms taken off the streets in Macon. Agents searched two Macon locations and all suspects were booked into Bibb County Jail, while authorities are asking residents to report any further drug or gang activity.
   

• One Bed – One Dream campaign aims to provide beds for 1,500 Bibb County children (41nbc.com) — Right now in Macon, a new One Bed, One Dream campaign is rallying the community to provide beds and bedding for an estimated 1,500 Bibb County children who may be sleeping on the floor. Partnering with the Tubman Museum and Bibb County schools, organizers are asking residents to donate beds, bedding, money, or volunteer time through October 3.
