New and returning routes expand travel options from Middle Georgia beginning June 9

Travelers in Middle Georgia will soon have expanded flight options as nonstop service from Middle Georgia Regional Airport to Baltimore returns and a new route to Fort Lauderdale is introduced.
Beginning June 9, nonstop flights to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport will resume, reconnecting Macon-area travelers with the Mid-Atlantic region. At the same time, a new nonstop route to Fort Lauderdale Airport will offer access to South Florida destinations.
The added service provides more options for leisure and family travel, including beach trips, cruises, and regional connections. Airline officials say the routes are part of ongoing efforts to expand convenient travel opportunities from Middle Georgia.
