Agritourism continues to rise as a way to support local farms while educating the public

A new 5-hour agritourism experience starts April 10 in Macon, allowing participants to explore local farms, meet farmers, and enjoy hands-on workshops throughout the spring season.
The tour visits Mystic Grove, Skipper Family Farms, Lane Southern Orchards, and Field Cut Flowers, giving participants a chance to create a bouquet, walk historic grounds, and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch.
The experience costs $119 per person, including transportation, entry fees, lunch, and workshops, and is limited to 10 guests per van for an intimate experience.
