Strawberry Season Begins in Fort Valley as U-Pick Patch Opens
Lane Southern Orchards welcomes visitors for fresh strawberries, treats, and springtime activities through mid-May
Strawberry season is officially underway at Lane Southern Orchards, where visitors can now enjoy fresh picked berries and a variety of seasonal offerings. The orchard’s popular U-Pick Strawberry Patch opened over the weekend, drawing families and community members eager to take part in the annual tradition.
In addition to strawberry picking, guests can explore local vendor booths, enjoy food trucks, and indulge in fresh made treats like strawberry ice cream. The orchard provides a relaxed outdoor setting where visitors can spend time enjoying the warmer weather while supporting local agriculture.
The U-Pick Strawberry Patch will remain open through mid-May, operating Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
