Here are the top stories in Marietta today:

  1. Cobb County DOT is working on solving the mystery after a traffic light collapsed into a major intersection. No storms were happening at the time of the incident and the lights weren't brought down by a traffic accident. The working theory is that the collapse may have been caused by an "electrical explosion." (WSB Radio)
  2. A motorcyclist led multiple law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase that ended with a fatal crash on Cobb Parkway. The man was killed when his bike hit a car. Officers with the Georgia State Patrol say the chase started in Bartow County after they saw two bikes street-racing. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  3. A Marietta woman hit two cars in less than an hour, including a police car with blue lights on, and she told officers that she "had a lot going on this year." Fortunately, neither accident resulted in injuries. (WSB Atlanta)
