Bomb Pieces From 50 Years Ago Found In Dead Veteran's Cobb Home

The Bomb Squad responded to the home Tuesday and deemed the ordnance pieces safe.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Police say multiple unexploded ordnance pieces at least 50-years-old were found Tuesday in the home of a dead veteran in Cobb County.

Cobb County Police said did not say how authorities were notified, but added the department's Bomb Squad responded to the scene and deemed the explosives safe.

It is unknown where in Cobb the explosives were located. Little information is known.
