Cobb County Students Head Back to School on Monday
The district is allowing students to bring water onto school buses during August and September due to recent high temperatures.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb students head back to school on Monday, August 1, to begin the 2016-17 school year.
The school district held school bus ride-alongs on Friday for kindergarten and first grade students and their parents as a practice run for both drivers and families.
Due to recent heat waves, during the months of August and September, students may bring water in containers with a screw on lid to drink on the bus.

“One of our top priorities is student safety,” said Superintendent Chris Ragsdale. The video was shown to all Cobb School employees during pre-planning and was filmed and produced by Cobb’s communications team
