Marietta Serial Bank Robber May Have Struck Again

PNC Bank was robbed Wednesday, and the bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and prosecution.

Marietta, GA -- A serial Marietta bank robber appears to have struck again.

Police say the PNC Bank on Johnson Ferry Road was robbed Wednesday morning, and the bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the perpetrator's arrest and prosecution.

Police say a man armed with a handgun walked into the bank and demanded money from teller. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’02”-6’04” tall with brownish hair, a full beard and possibly in his late 30s. He was last seen wearing a black suit, a white dress shirt, dark tie and a tan ball cap with some type of emblem on it.

The suspect appears to fit the description of the same man wanted in connection with the BB&T Bank robbery on May 26; the April 1 Regions Bank robbery; and the Fifth Third Bank robbery on Feb. 4.

The suspect in all of those incidents is described as a white male in the range of 6 feet tall, in his early 40s, short brown hair and a full beard.

In addition to a possible reward of up to $2,000 from the Greater Atlanta Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $2,000. The FBI is also offering a reward of up to $2,500 leading to his identification, arrest, and conviction.
