New Video Released In Marietta Teen Grayson Green's Killing
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads authorities to the person who shot and killed Grayson Green, 17, in May.

MARIETTA, GA — Police released new video footage Thursday that shows a crowd of people running from the scene of 17-year-old Grayson Green's killing in May with the hope that potential witnesses will come forward with information in the case.
Authorities are also offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed Grayson.
Green, of Marietta, was shot and killed around 10 p.m., May 21, at the Walton Village apartment complex near Roberta Drive while attending a large gathering with other teenagers and young adults, the Marietta Police Department said.

The video shows a small crowd of people running from the scene shortly after the shooting and police said they believe the attendees may have witnessed the shooting.
The party began at an Airbnb outside city limits that was shut down by the homeowner, according to police. The partygoers advertised on social media that it was being moved to Walton Village.

Police responded to the complex after a report of multiple gunshots, the department said. When officers arrived, they saw a large number of people running from the area.
Green was found on the ground, near an entrance, with a gunshot wound to his chest, authorities said. They attempted first aid, but Green died at WellStar Kennestone Hospital, authorities said.
According to police, only some of the witnesses were interviewed at the scene because of the commotion.
“As a father, I cannot imagine the pain this young man’s family and friends are going through and hope you will join me in keeping them in your prayers," Marietta Interim Police Chief Martin Ferrell said in a June statement.
"Candidly, we need the public’s help. Residents and business owners, you have trusted us in the past and helped us solve countless crimes. We are reaching out to you now to help bring justice for this senseless murder. Please encourage anyone with information in this case to come forward and bring closure for the Green family. ”
Officers said there are numerous witnesses to the shooting and are urging them to come forward.
"We are calling on parents to talk with their children, and anyone that was there and/or has information regarding the shooting death of Grayson Green to please have the courage to reach out to us," police said in a release.
Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta and Walton Village and Walton Communities originally offered a reward of $4,000, but it was increased in August to $10,000.
