Three Charged in Marietta Gun Store Break-in
The incident involved a Tuesday morning break-in at Deercreek Gun Store and an ensuing SWAT standoff.

MARIETTA, GA — Three men are facing charges after Tuesday's early morning SWAT standoff at a Marietta gun store.
Police say the men were involved during an armed robbery at the Deercreek gun store on Fairground Street.
Rashad Kirkland, 24, of Union City; Maurice Irwin, 24, of Marietta; and Rashaud Brewer, 20, of Dallas, have been charged with armed burglary and aggravated assault on a police officer. Kirkland is also being charged with marijuana possession.

Police arrived at the store after reports of an attempted break-in. When police arrived, they identified two suspects inside the store, and one on top of the building. One of the suspects fired on the officers, and police returned fire. No one was injured in the gunfire exchange.
Police spent several several tense minutes making sure there were no one else in the store before making before making entry.
