Woman Who Ran Over 'Sugar Daddy' Sentenced To Prison

Cobb County prosecutors say Junmakia Racquel Henley met her victim, a man in his 60s, at Wal-Mart in Kennesaw.

MARIETTA, GA — A Cobb County woman who ran over her "sugar daddy" with her car after he tried to end their relationship is headed to prison.

Junmakia Racquel Henley, 47, was sentenced by Cobb County Superior Court Judge A. Gregory Poole to 25 years, with 15 to serve in prison. Jurors had taken just 30 minutes to convict her on charges of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, aggravated battery, and felony hit and run.

According to prosecutors, Henley met the man — a retired engineer in his 60s — in the electronics section of the Wal-Mart on Chastain Meadows Parkway. He asked her out to lunch and, over the next several days, she allowed him to buy her gifts and take her out.

But, by the end of the week, the man "grew tired of being used and asked her to leave," according to the Cobb County District Attorney's office. On March 5, 2016, Henley got into her Toyota Camry, which was parked in the man's driveway at his Marietta home. She backed up, then drove toward her victim, causing him to end up on the car's hood.

She reversed and he managed to get off of the car, but he was knocked to the ground and she drove over him again before leaving the home. She drove away as he was screaming for help. Eventually, the man was able to call 911 from his cellphone.

His legs were crushed in the incident, according to prosecutors.

When Cobb County Police investigators confronted Henley the next day, she denied being at the man's house at the time of the crash — referring to him during the interview as "what's his name."

During her trial, prosecutors presented evidence that no one in Henley's life seemed to know how she made a living.
