A 2-year-old went to daycare, now she's missing a toe (wsbtv.com) — A 2-year-old girl was seriously injured when a fire extinguisher fell on her foot at Willoway Preschool in McDonough, costing her one toe and requiring multiple surgeries. Her parents say the extinguisher came loose from the wall, and the child was rushed to Arthur M. Blank Hospital. State officials are now investigating the Henry County daycare’s safety practices.

With Henry County’s ER already among the busiest in Georgia, this new facility should shorten wait times and improve access to advanced imaging and trauma care for McDonough families once it opens.
   

4.
