A Superior Court hearing on August 17 will decide whether the council acted lawfully, while both Williams and a key councilmember dispute whether behind-the-scenes messages were threats or simple warnings.

The nationwide survey also finds many, including some Republicans, feel President Trump has not clearly explained his goals, while rising gas prices and election-year politics add to public unease.
