Trump Will Be in Atlanta on June 15

Gov. Nathan Deal and U.S. Sen. David Perdue are hosting a fundraiser for the presumptive GOP nominee.

Atlanta, GA -- The date of Donald Trump's appearance in Atlanta next week has been released by his campaign.

The presumptive GOP nominee will be in Atlanta on Wednesday, June 15.

Gov. Nathan Deal and U.S. Sen. David Perdue are hosting a fundraiser for Trump, the Georgia Republican party's first official such event for the candidate.

Trump will be in Greensboro, NC, the day before, and Dallas the day after.

During this past weekend's Georgia Republican convention, Perdue enthusiastically endorsed Trump. Deal, however, did not attend the convention, and the governor is still unpopular among some Republicans for his recent vetoes of the religious liberty and campus-carry bills that were passed in this year's General Assembly.

Deal supported former Florida governor Jeb Bush in Georgia's Super Tuesday SEC primary back in March.

Trump, meanwhile, has sewn up the Republican nomination, but is facing serious complaints that he has personally attacked a federal judge overseeing a lawsuit against him in San Diego.
