• Rabun deputies arrest man after animal remains found at home (fox5atlanta.com) — Law enforcement recently searched a Mountain City home and exhumed animal remains during an investigation that led to a local man being charged with aggravated animal cruelty. Deputies say the case began with a June report and involved help from Mountain City Police. Forensic testing of the remains is still pending, and officials have not yet released details about the animal involved.
