• Helen goes up, up and away (whitecountynews.net) — Helen’s signature Helen to the Atlantic Balloon Race & Festival lifted off Thursday morning, drawing spectators and about 20 hot air balloons for mass ascensions and rides. Crews are preparing for a full weekend of balloon flights and family-friendly events in town, giving locals and visitors plenty to watch and do right here in Helen.
