• Helen's downtown parking changes draw immediate criticism (wgtjradio.com) — New rules now require White County residents and Helen employees to pay in all city-owned paid parking lots, ending previous free parking and adding two-hour limits to remaining free city spaces. Enforcement by Helen Police begins immediately at locations including Edelweiss, Chattahoochee Strasse, Unicoi Hill Park, Riverside Park, the library, and several Narr Weg and Tannen Weg lots.
