Marriott Receives Failing Grade from Health Inspectors
Marriott Atlanta Norcross in Peachtree Corners was cited for several food holding violations.

Citing several food storage and holding violations, the Gwinnett County health department gave the Marriott Atlanta Norcross a failing score in a food service inspection earlier this week.
The Peachtree Corners hotel, located at 475 Technology Parkway, drew a 57 on Wednesday, Jan. 21, according to health department data. A failing score is anything under 70.

Employee drink, in a multi-use cup, stored on the prep table, next to food that was actively being prepared, next to plastic wrap & above dishes. Drinks discarded. The facility serves cold-smoked salmon at the breakfast buffet; the food at the breakfast buffet are not on the menus. No parasite destruction documentation provided. Raw sausage, raw shell eggs stored above ready-to-eat foods (cut produce, cooked meats) in the upright cooler. Missing consumer advisory (asterisks, reminder statement, disclosure statement) for the cold-smoked salmon which is offered at the breakfast buffet.
