2014 Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas - Buckhead

Imagine if you were a senior citizen in a nursing home and NO friends or relatives ever came to visit you…not even for holidays.

Neighbor Love, a ministry of E CUBED International, wants to brighten the day of a WHOLE BUNCH of valuable seniors. Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas is a GREAT way to let a valuable senior know that someone still loves them.

We are hosting a Christmas party and giving gift bags to seniors at four nursing homes in Metro Atlanta.

Our TOTAL goal is to bless 700 seniors with gift bags this Christmas.

Neighbor Love will be delivering gift bags of goodies to seniors during a Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2:30-430pm at Nurse Care of Buckhead, 2920 Pharr Ct S, Atlanta, GA 30305

Our goal is to provide a gift bag to EVERY senior in Nurse Care of Buckhead totaling 200.

The gift bags will include: skin lotion/shaving cream, socks, a poinsettia, a piece of fruit, a hand-made Christmas Card, and a stuffed animal/puzzle book. (exact contents of gift bag are subject to change according to availability of merchandise and the amount of donations received)

The investment to Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas is just $20 per gift bag. ALL donations are tax deductible. You can sponsor as many seniors as you would like. A donation of ANY amount is appreciated.

DEADLINE to Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas is Saturday, Dec. 13th.

If you would like to join us, you are welcome to join us to deliver your bag to the Seniors.

We will also need volunteers to help assemble the gift bags at the Nurse Care of Buckhead, 1-2:30pm on Sunday, Dec. 14th.

We could use your help in the following ways:

1) Pray for God’s favor on this service project.

2) Help with assembling the gift bags

3) Delivering the gift bags, spreading the love of God, to the residents. Adults and their children are welcomed.

4) Donating store bought sweets, snacks and cider/hot chocolate for the party.

5) Spreading the word about the event to ALL your friends

6) Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas for just $20 per gift bag. ALL donations are tax deductible. Sponsorship of gift bags would be appreciated but in no way a requirement to volunteer for the event.
