Bike Roswell! Plans Guided Tour of Art Sculptures
The event showcasing the ArtAround Roswell's museum without walls is scheduled for Saturday, June 24.

ROSWELL, GA -- Bicyclists are invited to join the Roswell Art Fund and Bike Roswell! next week for the first guided bike tour of the ArtAround Roswell sculptures stationed around the city.
The tour will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 24. It will begin and end at Lucky’s Burger and Brew at 1144 Alpharetta Street in Roswell.
To celebrate National Bike Month and the 2017 ArtAround Roswell sculptures, Bike Roswell! tour guides will lead the group tour on two wheels, providing safety instruction and serve as ride leaders and sweeps.

Roswell Arts Fund guides will tell the stories behind the sculptures and the artists who created them. At each stop, riders will have the opportunity to take photos and to experience the sculptures in this museum without walls.
In between sculptures, riders will enjoy the route through our beautiful historic district and scenic natural environment the city. This will be a slow-paced ride, which is perfect for casual riders or fast riders looking for a relaxing route. The route will be released soon and does include one steep hill.

ArtAround Roswell is a partnership between the city and the Roswell Arts Fund. Since early 2016, ArtAround Roswell has been transforming the city’s parks into a museum without walls, introducing public art to residents and visitors of all ages.
From April to December, the initiative showcase sculptures with a variety of styles, types and sizes, all on loan from the talented individuals who created them. Works of art will be available for purchase, and at least one work will be acquired by the Roswell Arts Fund as a permanent gift to the city.
Riders taking part in the bike tour should bring:
- A bike (in good shape and ready to ride);
- A helmet (helmet is required for ride);
- Cash or card (bike event is free, but food or drink at the host restaurant is not included); and
- Water bottle (filled with water, of course).
Please note that the event is recommended for adults and teens age 15 and older. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
