The cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death has been classified, but it will be a while before that information is released to the public.

That’s because a Fulton County Superior Court order, dated Sept. 25, has sealed the autopsy report and ordered the Medical Examiner’s Office “not to release any further information to the public,” the office said.

The Fulton County District Attorney and Roswell Police Department have been informed of the medical examiner’s findings. Both agencies continue to review the case, and their investigations remain active and open.

Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of R&B singers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died July 26 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga.

Her death came several months after she was discovered unresponsive inside a bathtub the morning of Jan. 31 at her Roswell home on Riverbend Manor. Police and fire crews took over life-saving measures once they arrived on the scene, and Brown was transported to North Fulton Hospital for treatment.

She was later moved from North Fulton to Emory Hospital, and subsequently relocated to a rehabilitation center in March and to the Duluth-based hospice facility in June.
