Every Saturday is Caturday at Furkids Cat Shelter!
Come see Georgia's largest no-kill, free-roaming cat shelter and find a furry friend or two.
Our Doraville Cat Shelter cares for approximately 275+ cats per day, and welcomes the public every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (2650 Pleasantdale Rd. Suite 8, Atlanta, GA 30340). We have many wonderful cats and kittens of all shapes, sizes, and personalities available for adoption, some who have been waiting much too long for a forever home. A number of cats and kittens, like Tinkerbell, have been sponsored by generous donors, so their adoption fees are $0!
Our free-roaming facility allows visitors to come in, sit down, and get to know cats in a more comfortable environment enabling you to interact with them and see their personalities. You can take your time, go from room to room, and even watch cats run on an enormous “hamster” wheel and climb cat trees.
December is Adopt a Senior Pet Month and all cats and dogs 8+ years old have $0 adoption fees all month! We have a number of delightful senior kitties who have so much love to give and would be very grateful if someone would give them the home they long for. They’re not asking for a lot…maybe a warm lap, a sunny window, and some yummy food. You can view all of our available cats and dogs at www.furkids.org and apply online now!
