Meet Diddy Kong, a Super Sweet, Senior Cat!

Hi, my name is Diddy Kong! I am a big, handsome, blue eyed, Flame Point Siamese mix, and one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever meet. If you pick me up and hold me, I’ll just purr and melt in your arms. I’m basically a laid back, relaxed sort of cat who, as one volunteer described me, “is on a beach vacation in his mind”. I’m an affectionate boy who just wants to be near you, to snuggle and be petted.

I’ve been at Furkids cat shelter much too long, and I’m still waiting to meet that special someone who’ll give me a home of my own where I can chill out, take a good nap, do some leisurely bird watching from a sunny window, and just lounge around and snuggle on the couch with you. I would do very well in a calm and quiet home with loving human companions - maybe with someone who works from home or is retired. I get along well with most of my kitty roommates at Furkids, but a few cats tend to take advantage of my tolerant nature and pick on me occasionally, so I would prefer the company of other gentle-natured cats like me. I have a condition that makes my skin a bit sensitive, but it’s easily controlled and no big deal at all.

I’m considered a senior cat because I’m about eight years old, although I prefer to think of myself as “mature”. That just means I’m less rambunctious and not as likely to get into mischief as kittens, and I won’t require constant playtime.
