• Viva Roswell returns with three Hispanic Heritage Month concerts (thegeorgiasun.com) — Roswell residents can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with three Viva Roswell concerts at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center this September and October. Councilwoman Eren Brumley highlights the city's growing Hispanic community as performers bring Latin American music, opera, and dance-friendly rhythms to local audiences, with family-friendly ticket prices and free parking at the venue and City Hall lots.
   

• Richard "Rich" Ptacin (chattanoogan.com) — Roswell is mourning the passing of 88-year-old resident Richard "Rich" Ptacin, a devoted family man and singer who shared his love of music at St. George's Village with the Villagers Chorus and a quartet he helped organize. His funeral Mass will be held September 12 at St. Jude Church in Chattanooga, with visitation beforehand and a reception afterward.
