Roswell Seeking Members For Bike, Pedestrian Committee

The Bicycle And Pedestrian Stakeholder Committee will help guide the development of Roswell's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.

ROSWELL, Ga. — The City of Roswell is seeking approximately 10 citizens to serve on the city's Bicycle And Pedestrian Stakeholder Committee to help guide the development of our Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. This opportunity is open to all Roswell residents age 18 and over.

Through its Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan process, the City will evaluate its policies and practices, identify and prioritize bicycle and pedestrian investments, and develop a fiscally realistic implementation strategy. The master planning process will go through three distinct phases, each including public input and engagement:

  • A data-gathering phase to establish existing conditions
  • An assessment phase to establish bicycle and pedestrian needs
  • A recommendations phase to establish policies and infrastructure investments for the City's consideration and develop a guide for implementation.

A final Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
