CCCEPA presents 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'
Pebblebrook High School students present Dirty Rotten Scoundrels the musical this weekend at Marietta's Strand Theater.

The Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts has done it again with this weekend’s performance of Jeffery Lane and David Yazbek’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Sure to “wow” audiences from all walks of life and have them dancing in the aisles, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tells the tale of two hilarious con men from the French Riviera in a winner-takes-all battle over the fortunes of an American heiress. Nowhere else can you find such a high level of singing, dancing, and scheming all in one neat package—much less from high school students.
After nearly a month of grueling, however entertaining, rehearsals, the cast of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is thrilled to bring a truly rousing show to audiences this weekend at Marietta’s Strand Theater. Taylor-Kate Eubanks, a junior at , plays Muriel Eubanks who blindly falls for the tactics of the seemingly suave swindlers. True to Pebblebrook form, this musical is sure to please all audiences with its honest acting and dynamic dance numbers. There is something for everyone to enjoy in this wildly captivating comedy.
“Of course, I would say it’s very high energy but it’s also extremely diverse. There’s a country number, a Latin number, some ballroom… There are just a lot of different styles in the show,” Eubanks said.
