Experience and ethical behavior needed more than ever

Right now in South Cobb County it is very obvious that we need to keep our commissioner Woody Thompson. Yes there are some fine folk who have chosen to run against Woody Thompson but they all lack the experience we need in our representative.

There are no Republicans or Democrats or liberals or even conservatives on the five member Cobb Commission.There are hopefylly folk who are going to bat for the folk who live in their district and are fighting to get the most or at least a fair share of what is being given out for this area of the county.

Woody Thompson was in his position when we started the Community center and aqua center in South Cobb, He was our commissioner when we created the Library  on Floyd Road, He was in office when we started the long haul fight for widening the Floyd Road . That became a reality just two weeks ago when we broke ground.

Do we still have some problems in South Cobb? Of course we do and they will be addressed in a timely manner and when the funds become available. South Cobb cannot give up all the ground we have gained just to have "change".

The good people of South Cobb deserve only the best and Woody Thompson will continue to fight for every thing he can get out of a very tight budgetwith all kinds of restrictions that have been placed upon him by the current leadership.

He represents exactly what three other opponents have said we need. He represents open and honest communication, He represents a better lifestyle for all of South Cobb Citizens, he represents an even bigger and more visible law enforcement presence and he represent hope for all of the citizens of South Cobb County.
