Hi Everyone,
Had a great show on Friday night at Our Place Bakery Café; I felt more alive than I’ve ever felt on stage. I’ve rediscovered my purpose in music and it felt awesome to be playing. Love playing with Just Jo, and I eagerly wait for our next outing! I played my normal fare of original music, but I really had a blast playing my favs; a little Stevie Nicks, Steelers Wheel, Sarah McLachlan, the ‘S’ theme isn’t intentional though. I was sad that nobody could answer my question. What is my favorite song to date? Mary’s Arms, not one right answer. Guess we will just have to work harder for next time… And there will be a next time at Our Place. The acoustics are great; love the high ceilings, the delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere. Cheryl, the owner is a darling woman with a great venue and yes, Nate did get his ice cream. It was gone in a nano second; the boy can put away his ice cream! Starting a new regiment today, sit down with my guitar to write something, no matter how small, everyday. Come on out to events and hear what I’ve come up with. Write me to tell me what is going on in your life and what you think might be a good song. You will get the credit for the song idea!
On Sunday I was cantor for the 7:30am service at St. Thomas, my last time doing that and it was good to hear from 5 people that I did a good thing. I am sad to leave, but with a future full of exciting events coming up, I’m looking forward and not back. The service was very good and I got lots out of the priest’s message and the music selected for the day. It was a reaffirmation on using my talent to His glory, but also don’t just stop there, use the talent in new and undiscovered ways too.

People ask 'Why do you do this?' Because music is in me and I must get it out, plus it is just plan fun and having fun up on stage means that I bring the fun to you in the audience. Truly a win-win situation!
Peace out,
Lady Toni
