Our Cobb County District Attorney,Joyette Holmes, has been appointed to lead the prosecution of a father and son charged with killing Ahmaud Arbery, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.
Holmes would become the third prosecutor assigned by the state to the Arbery case. and will bring a different perspective to the investigation.
Last June she became Cobb’s first female and African-American district attorney after Gov. Brian Kemp appointed her to replace Vic Reynolds, who took over as GBI director.
