Come Out for Some Good Ol' Fashioned Storytelling and Barbecue TODAY

The annual South Cobb Arts Alliance's storytelling festival takes place today at the Mable House.

This free annual fall event, hosted by the , is fun for the whole family. This year, seven featured storytellers will weave their tales on the historic grounds of the .

However, this fall festival includes more than storytelling. Attendees can take part in hay rides, music, children's craft-making, blacksmith, weaver, quilter, corn husking, puppet shows, panning for gold, old-fashioned games, a petting zoo (12:30-2:30 p.m.) and pony rides (11 a.m.-1 p.m.)!

Candied apples, vegetable plate lunches, cotton candy, fresh baked goods, Lion's Club annual barbecue will be available for sale on site during the event.
