"Eisenhower, Patton, Bradley and the Allied Conquest in Europe"

Residents and history enthusiasts are invited to meet local author Jonathan W. Jordan and learn about World War II history in this unique opportunity to talk to a nationally-recognized author and scholar.

Participants are encouraged to bring a light lunch and enjoy a discussion on these three military leaders and their impacts on the outcome of World War II.  Copies of the author's new critically-acclaimed book, "Brothers, Rivals, Victors," will also be for sale.

Jordan is an attorney at Atlanta-based law firm King & Spalding LLP and the author of the award-winning book "Lone Star Navy: Texas, the Fight for the Gulf of Mexico, and the Shaping of the American West."  He has contributed to and edited several other works, and his writing has appeared in "World War II" magazine, "Armchair General," "Military History," "World War II History" and "MHQ: The Quarterly Journal of Military History."
