State Representative AishaThomas Morgan will hold a Town Hall meeting to provide an overview of the bills passed during the General Assembly’s recent legislative session and lead a discussion on charter schools.
Tony Roberts, President of the Georgia Charter Schools Association, will help lead the charter school discussion, which will focus on explaining what charter schools are and how they can serve as a public school option for parents. The charter school discussion will also include information about House Resolution 1162, a constitutional amendment that Rep. Morgan co-sponsored that would allow the state to authorize charter schools.
