In July 2019 I received a note on my door that I would be charged a fee for trash that was in front of my apartment I disputed the charge and stated that it was not my trash Then I was notified by the apartment complex that they would not renew my lease in August because I pay my rent late

I filed bankruptcy in August which I was granted a stay I was notified by my bankruptcy attorney in October that I would be notified by the Cobb magistrate court on a refiling date and I did not receive it , I called Cobb County magistrate court 2 weeks ago and I inquired about another court date and at that time was informed there was nothing filed on me since July 2019 On Today December 12, 2019 I was evicted and after I contacted my bankruptcy attorney I was informed that I did not show up in court on November 8th which I was not informed about , the eviction team put my furniture out my children’s Christmas tree outside. If I was notified about the November 8th court date in Cobb County Magistrate court I would have had a chance to work out a payment plan, discuss lease options and at the time if the payment plan was rejected then I would I have went home and packed up my bags and prepared for the move. On today I could not pack
the eviction team hauled my things outside. The eviction team did not get all my stuff out and I will not be allowed to go back inside the apartment and get my papers and my children’s pictures. I have moderate income on an educator’s salary, raising 2 children one is a special needs child the other is a sophomore in college. I know the eviction process well and I am bewildered to fact that I was not notified about a hearing date scheduled for November 8th. I never miss a court date. I’m still going to fight no matter what
