Cobb County NAACP hosting "Juneteenth Justice Rally and Memorial on Friday
The Cobb County NAACP is hosting a “Juneteenth Justice Rally and Memorial” on Friday, June 19, 2020 starting at 4:00 p.m. at the organization’s headquarters, located at 605 Roswell St. NE B in Marietta.
Participants will walk from the NAACP office to the Marietta Square for a rally. The walk, about a mile, will commemorate “the memory of those lost to the injustices of yesterday and today,” according to a flyer for the event.
